ModPots ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Double H Creative Inc., respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
When you contact us through our website, request a consultation, or subscribe to updates, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any project details you choose to share. When you place an order or book a workshop, we also collect your billing and shipping address and the details of your purchase. We also automatically collect limited technical information, such as browser type, device information, and pages visited, through standard website analytics.
We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates and proposals, deliver our design and installation services, and communicate with you about your project. We use order information to process payments, fulfil and ship orders, confirm workshop bookings, and provide receipts and customer support. We may also use your contact information to send occasional updates about ModPots, which you can opt out of at any time.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to improve your browsing experience. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though some site features may not function as intended.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who support our business operations, such as payment processing, shipping, scheduling, accounting, and communications tools, solely for the purpose of delivering our services to you. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Card payments on our website are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and are never stored by ModPots. Stripe may process and store information outside Canada, including in the United States, under its own privacy policy.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at studio@modpots.ca. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
